A Typical 1950s Love Story - UK Siggy meets German GirlDuring the reunion, some of you discussed how the Germans and senior Staff reacted to relationships between the "Prisoners from Stalag Langeleben" and the young ladies of the town of Königslütter...I also told some of you about the story of John Randell and his girlfriend in 1954, as part of my asking about anyone who knows him or what became of him. I have reworked the usual bland search request into a semi-fictionalised Story that I think reflects the time, and maybe also gives memory to experiences of a similar nature suffered by young couples at that time?
