Never heard it so quiet Gerry, I've just returned after a holiday in Costa Blanca,I must remember the Guys who live out there and look them up sometime, I will be back there in Jan & Feb, I think they reside in Oruella & Altea, (there you are I'm still alive, hope this activates the forum again) Hughie mac.

All quiet on the Western FrontI cannot remember Langeleben being this quiet in 55. Paul, are you still there, or has the history finally finished you. I rely on you to keep me awake. Keith from 55

Just to let you all know I am still around.
Just had a great weekend in Torquay at the BVA reunion and if you read this Ken, Frank Barton sends his regards, said he knew you in 61 and this was his first time at the BVA.

If you look at the history site Keith you'll see that I am alive and give the occasional kick.
I've been concerned that I mighht have been going on too much about the history and so have kept a bit low.
I am SO pleased at the revived activity as I'v had much fun and pleasure from thre Forum

Alls quietThank goodness Paul, I thought it had been all too much for you, silly me. I will go and have a look in the roof and see what I can find. Keith PS
Sorry to all you Langys, I get carried away when I get chatting to someone from fifty odd years ago. It was a great posting.

Keith, I've been thinking ... (thunderous aplause).
There's you, Fred Sanderson, Bob Wells and possibly more. We were such good mates in 55/56 it would possibly be great to get together - if only to bore each other rigid.
It's the UK re-union next year and that would be a good idea (should we live that long). What do you thin k?
Misterbee ... I know that you are there, I've seen you taking a crafty peep now and again, nothing escapes my eagle eye! Pantomime must be approaching; time to blow the dust off the high heels and the boobs I suppose, or have you been giving them ther odd airing now and again?

All QuietBloody Hell Paul, Have you not got anything else to do at 6.28 in the morning. I have just got into work so will have to keep it short. Will certainly be at next years re-union. Keith

Paul. No, the high heels and boobs have been sent to the great wardrobe department in the sky. I have decided to get out of the entertainment business while I am still compus mentis. I will also be hanging up my magic wand after the Christmas season. It has been a hard decision but I have seen too many performers who have carried on past their 'sell by date' and were only shadows of their former selves. I will still do work for private functions but that will leave me plenty of time to carry on my work with my local scout group. By the way it is Gang Show time again for us and we are taking over the local theatre for the 17th November. It looks like they will be pulling off another great show. Take a look at the website that I have developed for them www.copthornescouts.co.uk and follow the gangshow button.
I have been trying to get a few words on paper for the history from the viewpoint of a 'techie' but it is happening very slowly. I know I had a fantastic time but the memory cells are very clouded. Still I will press on regardless and get something to you - hopefully before the end of the year. Will that be too late? What are your timescales? Must get to bed now as I am up early for a nursery school magic show.

Hello there Misterbee
Probably a wise decision but one for you to make.
I am keeping the history open as long as possible to get as many contributions in as I can. It isn't a problem so just do your best and that applies to everyone.
THis is the advantage of a 'Living History' I think.
Good luck with the Gang Show. I still remember many of the Ralph Reader songs from my Cubbing days
