Christmas 1955

Hi All, I know it is stupid but I am sitting here with a single malt and I am thinking it's Christmas eve 'what was I doing this time in 1955'. Well I cannot remember because I know I enjoyed my time at Langeleben and as I gave up my Christmas leave to stay with load of great guys the Toast has been a typical event for all those that served at Langeleben. I think the reponse was great and wish all Langeleben Members a happy time. Best of luck all, Keith. ( I was only a National Seervice Man but learn't from my time at Langeleben) P.s. It's not the malt talking.

Hi Kerby, I Agree, I think the Toast was a great idea, and proved a tremendous success.  Not least amongst the outcomes, was the number of people who posted messages for the first time; I sincerly hope that now they have dipped their toes in the water, we shall hear more from them. The Bahamas, Canada, New Zealand and Scunthorpe seem to be the furthest afield, any other remote outposts I've missed?? All the best, Dave T.
