Kevin EllisI have just been informed of the sudden death of Kevin Ellis, the elder son of Renate and the late Peter Ellis, in Berlin yesterday.
Kevin worked at Langeleben for several years as a Civilian Guard (successors to the MSOs) from 1979 up to the closure in 1992, and represented the civil labour as shop steward, he was very good at this as he was bi-lingual in English and German.
Kevin retained his interest and affection for Langeleben throughout the years. He was a keen photographer, some of his photographs appear in our gallery.
Our condolences go to Renate and Kevin's family. RIP Kev.
