Webmaster

After a very good response to the Langeleben Toast I would like to propose not a toast but a Vote of Thanks to our Webmaster Tom for all the good work he does to keep our site going in the way he does.
I do not have a clue how he does it but for me it is one of the best sites going.
Thank you Tom.

I wish to convey my appreciation of a very good site. Our webmaster  does a very good job. As an ex I.T. manager, I see that he observes a good philosophy of KISS (keep it simple stupid). Thanks Mr Webmaster, Keith

Must add my thanks to you as well Tom. It only seems like yesterday,
since we formed this branch in Bambury. Keep up the good work, Gerry.

Evil or Very Mad Yep ditto all the praise and platitudes, cannot work out how he does it,(still has not printed my avatar),I got mixed up just thinking about zulus and working out how to do the toast, brown bread or white, thick or thin.I still think I am missing sumfink, maybe a pallet off the back of the lorry to make it a full load.I shall try again next year after I buy a new toaster.

Just thought I would say how very disappointed I am with the lack of support for our Webmaster.

Tom, not all of us convey our thoughts via the website.

Tom (Neil), I stand rebuked and whilst flagellating myself with a birch twig and wearing a hair shirt, got arrested, a nasty rash and put me back out. Actually I was trying to decipher Shoreps messgae to see if there was a hidden message, there was if you translate it into Sanscrit and take every 3RD letter, translate back into Latin and then the whole into Jibberish, it reads, 'Sanction Me'.
Seriously Tom (Das WebMeister), like so many unsung heroes, you go unnoticed, until you are not there. Long may you be there / here for without you we may disintegrate into the state of similar sites. I am sure that a good few will know to whom I refer.

Paul, I take your point but on that basis the Forum would only consist of the first entry and others then using emails to make comments.
Just in case you mention me in your Will Mick, the name is NEAL.

I, Pharticus Incontinentus, the love child of Shorep and SSM 'Gobby' Blease, hereby commit all my worldly debts to Thomas Neal.
Sorry Tom but I had just been talking workwise to a Colin Neil and my brain was in its normal ??? mode.
Me, I think, who ever I am Rolling Eyes

From what I know of Tom (which is only through the Forum and the publication of the 'History' we might well be embarrassing him).
He knows how much we all appreciate him and without him we know we wouldn't have a Forum and certainly not a history.
Shall we end this subject?
