Sorry Guys, I should have told you before, still better late than never. The Saturday Play last week (BBC Radio 4 Long Wave, none of your DAB rubbish here!) was Journey into Space – The host. Not the original version from the 1950’s which Paul will remember (probably word for word), but an updated version, taking into account much of the scientific developments of the past 60 years. The remarkable thing was, this was written by Charles Chilton the same guy who wrote the original, he’s now 92 (yes even older than Paul!). I don’t know if this is part of a series, I hope it is, but I did notice that it’s only available on LW, obviously FM can’t cope with proper drama.
