I have managed to talk our tie manufacturers into reducing the minimum order rule and have arranged for 30 new ties to be available for our Loughborough reunion, obviously the unit cost has increased from 1996 when we ordered our first batch of 200 and the fact that we have only ordered 30 this time means that the unit price has increased significantly, instead of £7 per tie we will have to charge£10 per tie.

That sounds a pretty good deal to me Ernie, and I doubt you will have much trouble getting rid of the 30. All the best. Dave T. _________________ Dave Thomas 2 Sqn 13 SR, '63-'66 |

| If or when you do order more can they please be wider and longer. The new ones look silly on fat tall people (that's me) ending up well above the navel - not far below the chinS. The I Corps have done this with great success. The current shape is rather dated. It didn't stop me buying one though. I can now return Bill LLoyd's to him. Thanks for the loan Bill. |

Paul,
I am looking for a photo of you wearing the tie, but no luck so far. Cannot believe you are one of the shy and retiring type. Perhaps they didn't approach you from your 'good' side.
Return of the tie is awaited at your convenience. Miss it for the Sunday service, when I always get an enquiring stare from the minister when leaving the church.
Sorry to read of your 'experience' over the weekend. As I explained, son was over here from Oz. We had a night at a 'top' hotel in St Andrews, and even at the price we were paying, I couldn't give the visit 100% for service, etc. A sign of the times, I am afraid.
Bill. |

| Good to hear from you Bill. I don't think that I was in any photo as I left shortly after the end of the AGM. As I said though, 'I wore it with pride' Unfortunately Keith Kerb y finally did not make it either but it was good to see Pete Ellis and Bob Wells again. He sems to have the secret of eternal youth! |
